These are just some of the photographs I took during my China trip last march. As you can obviously tell, I love taking pictures of dead trees! There’s just something about them that gives off a vintage vibe. They just make the perfect subject because every shot looks amazing  with them as the main focal point. (well, at least they do to me. haha)

Anyway, we did some roaming around the first day. I was shivering come night time because stupid me forgot to bring my coat (it was inside my hand carry luggage) which unfortunately, was left inside the car back in the Philippines. All I have with me was my leather jacket which didn’t suffice. But hey! I’m still alive so that means I survived the cold!! 

I have more photos to share which includes (but not limited) to dead trees, structures, my face, food etc.. haha so yeah. I hope I’ll be able to post them soon :)

It’s monday again tomorrow :( I hate this weekend-almost-over kind of feeling. But well, we all have to go to work or school or somewhere. It’s just the way life is. So, enjoy the remaining hours of your weekend!! :)

So I have nothing special to share aside from these photographs. Alas, it is safe to assume that my summer vacation (I have about a week left) is nothing but unproductive. Well, counting out the fact that I took summer classes (which quite frankly is the highlight of most of my days) and at times, tried to attend anti gravity yoga classes (which are fun! I’d like to do it on a regular basis but its just too hassle since I live far from the studio) I sometimes wonder what am I doing wasting all my time laying around doing nothing except change oxygen to carbon dioxide. 

To make myself feel better, I just try to think all those times I took spontaneous trips with friends, those spontaneous nights with the gang and all those unplanned moments that always turn out to be unforgettable ones. 

Okay. Now I feel better. And besides, after graduation, when will I have the opportunity to do nothing again? (assuming I’d be hired right after! HAHA)

So I guess you can say that I’m just.. savoring the moment. 

Anyway, I’ve been meaning to post my China trip but well, my laziness gets the best of me. There are just too many photos to edit. :| Maybe I should do it after I get tired of doing nothing. hehe

Sometimes, I can’t believe I’m the same girl I was 5 years ago. So many things have changed about me that whenever I see old photos of myself, I’m either lusting over my old body or cringing at the sight of my chubby cheeks, weird hair and fashion choices. 

Well, as they say, change is the only constant thing in the world. And sometimes, change is good. Let’s hope that it’ll get better and better for the years to come!  :D

Incidentally, its been awhile since my last outfit post and well.. TADA!! this shall be my comeback post!

I wore this out to dinner with my family. Most of the times, its really difficult to choose what outfit to wear when I’m out with the fam bam. I wouldn’t want to appear overdressed when I’m with them but when they resort to the same old top and shorts combo, I couldn’t help but feel overdressed no matter what I’m wearing.

So.. what could a girl do?? Prepare their outfits so we could match! YEY!!! Sometimes they give in, sometimes they don’t. But its so fun when they wear the outfits I pick for them cause we then would look so cute (i’d like to think so that we do. HAHA)

So, it’s been quite awhile since I last posted something here with my face on it. Maybe because I haven’t been taking my regular vain outfit shots these days. Or perhaps its also due to my lack of self confidence. Gaining weight can do that to you. Boo hoo.

Anyway, I was scanning my laptop and found some not so old photographs of myself. Probably the only set of photos I have with my red hair. I recently had my colorist dyed it to something neutral because I was thinking of going back to my brownish color but upon seeing the photographs, I kind miss my red hair and wants to dye it back to red. 

GAAH. I’m so indecisive! My colorist will probably kill me. Or my hair could just die on its own due to too much chemicals.

In other news, I took outfit shots today! Kinda missed it :3 Imma try to post it as soon as possible. Finals are coming up and I’m gonna need to focus so… yeaaah. 

I’m excited to post all my photos from the China trip too! So that’s something to look forward to. Sigh. I miss blogging. Makes me a ton better!

So as I’ve said in my previous post, I’ve been trying to participate in life (which means going out more and socializing with other human beings.) and so far, it’s been great! I’ve always been the sheltered kind of girl. Preferring friday nights alone, tucked under my sheets with a tub of ice cream and just watching romantic chick flicks. But ever since I learned how to drive, I just can’t stay put anymore. I always feel the need to be out. And well, it’s nice to be around people for a change HAHA 

Anyway, just thought I might give this blog an update. I posted a photo diary that has melancholic feel into it. I don’t know. Perhaps because they were taken at a cemetery? What do you think?

PS: I’m currently in China and I can’t wait to post all the photographs I took. :> Hopefully I get to update this blog as often as before. 

Just thought I might share these bunch of photographs I took last year. Everything was taken with an analog Canon a-1. Some photographs have light leaks because I accidentally exposed the film to the sun. What a pleasant accident, right? haha Anyway, been neglecting this blog for awhile. 

I’ve been following the example of Charlie from the book “The Perks of Being A Wallflower”.

I’m trying to participate in life and so far, its been… different. Totally out of my comfort zone (which consists of weekend nights alone with my laptop watching series and other funny youtube videos)

And actually, I’m still trying to figure out how to play along. Although I must admit, it’s been fun to be out and about with friends and doing spontaneous stuff!

Well, we’ll see how this plays out but in the meantime, enjoy these photographs! :)

Another backlog post with my old hair. Honestly, I kind of don’t want to shoot with my red hair just yet because it’s kind of fading already. I want it to be more vibrant so I’m thinking of dyeing it again before the New Year comes.

Anyway, days have been moving oh-so-slow after Christmas passed. I’ve been dying of boredom and too much food intake the past few days. My stomach is so full that I can feel it stretching every time I eat something (which practically every time I see something edible). I’ve been missing my yoga classes the past few days because I’m just so lazy to moveee. :< Must hit the gym or diet or do something about this fat I’ve accumulated over the holiday (and we still have media noche to look forward to OHLORD)

Humor me for a second.

Let us say that the predictions are true. That Dec 21, 2012 is indeed the end of the world; Ask yourself these questions: Where are you in your life right now? What/How do you feel in this moment? Are you contented, satisfied of how far you’ve come?

What have you done?

I asked myself these questions too many times already. I didn’t even need the end-of-the-world bullshit to assess myself. And maybe it’s the reason why I refuse to believe that the world will end. Because I’m so not done with my life yet. I need to change something. I refuse to believe that it will end this way. With me being too.. forgettable. (is that the word I’m looking for? I’m not too sure but it counts)

Indeed, what have I done? Absolutely nothing. Aside from me being selfish and all. 

So, what will I do differently till the 21 (and after if ever I survive, which of course is hypothetically speaking since I don’t believe in the apocalypse HAHA)

We’ll see :)

PS: Sorry for such a random post. It’s 5:29 am as I’m writing this post and queueing it up and I’m still up because I can’t sleeeeeepppp. I wish someone can keep me company but.. MEH. 

I can’t believe that Christmas is just 9 days away! Where did the time go?

Soon, it’s time for us to prepare for the coming year and boy, I can’t wait for 2013! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: 2012 is not my year. 

Well, it’ll soon be over. I can finally have a reason to start a new and make a new new year’s resolution which I won’t complete anyway. HAHA It’s nice to think that after 365 days (of which consists of few moments of mistakes, guilt, regrets and all bad stuff) we get to have another year, another chance. It kind of gives me the feeling that I have a clean slate again. 

Perhaps I should start thinking what changes I’d like to happen in my life for next year. Better start early, right? :)

So, this is another post waiting to rot in my drafts. I don’t know why I didn’t post this sooner. I absolutely love the lighting here, thanks to the magic hour.

And also to my sister for helping me with the shots :)

So, I’m feeling anxious right now. My last finals for the term was awhile ago and it was awful. Do you ever get the feeling like you just wanted to burst out in flames and just disappear?Well, upon seeing the super, duper long test questionnaire awhile ago, I swear I almost wanted to die right then and there.

Fine! Maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit but seriously, I don’t know if I’m getting dumber or tests are just getting more tedious and difficult. (I think it’s the former. Must be all the junk food. HAHA and also, my laziness probably is taking it’s toll on me.)

Anyway, I was feeling particularly very lady-like the day this was taken. So, I got my midi-skirt on and build my outfit from there. I would’ve added a floppy hat but I didn’t want to be overdressed for a casual sunday with my family.

My current hair is far from this photo. I had it cut and dyed into a new color last Sunday. I would’ve wanted the color change to be much obvious but I guess you’ll have to wait for my new outfit posts to find out if its a subtle change or not.

I actually have 2 more pending posts with my old hair so I guess that has to go first. HAHA

Anyway, it’s been too long since my last legit term break! Last term, we didn’t have one at all so…. I’ll enjoy my empty days till grade consultation day. I do hope I pass all my subjects.

For my intangible Christmas wish, that would be it! (cause boyfriend falls under tangible, duh! HAHAHA)

So… this post have been sitting in my drafts for years. I’m actually not quite sure if I should still post it since its a pretty basic tutorial and there are tons of more helpful tutorial over the net. But anyway, since I’ve been pretty busy with my finals, I decided to put it on queue and just get it over with.

I got the idea of this super basic tutorial from a friend when she suggested that I make a cheat sheet for her since she’s a complete “noob” when it comes to Photoshop. And so, this was born! 

NOTE: The shortcut for the patch tool is not (P). It’s (J) and I’m too lazy to change it. 

So that’s it! It’s easy right? 

Note: You can also opt to use the spot healing brush tool but as the name suggests, its build more for spots. I like to use the patch tool more because its gives me control of the shape I want to patch over. You can use it for eye bags too, but it’s a little tricky.

Photoshop away!

Life is pretty much boring these days aside from the usual ever demanding academic activities that always leave me wanting to stab myself due to too much stress OR isolate myself in one corner of my room contemplating about my real purpose in this world (and also to knock myself in the head for studying something I don’t have even a spectacle of interest in.) 

Seriously, I think I’m losing my mind. (or might have already lost it). 

So, to remedy that, I decided to open up my doors to new possibilities. Try new things. Do more. Create something amazing. Whatever it takes to bring back life and to go back to living and not to settle in just merely existing. I hate feeling this way. :|

Incidentally, I know I have posted most of these photographs before, but I just wanted to post it in one photo diary so I can see it as a whole compilation. I guess you can say that I’m still pretty much in love with every shot. The exciting anticipation film photography gives me is still one of the best feelings in the world. If only I can store that feeling it in a film canister and take it out every time I’m down or feeling lifeless.. *sigh*

Before I succumb to my academic activities and whatnot, I decided to procrastinate once more by posting this set of vain photographs. Just a little something before I finally commit to my studies and be a good student.

And yes, you caught me. It’s that season again.

The season not to be jolly, but to be persistent and hardworking. The term is closing to an end and it’s going to be my last chance to pass any requirements, ace my remaining quizzes and recite so that my professors will finally hear that weird girl at the back of the class speak. Yes, I dislike reciting in class. Graded recitation is like, my version of hell (among other things).

And can I just say that I love having a brother! A choosy, I-only-want-branded-clothes kind of brother. That’s why for lazy days (like this one) or I-don’t-have-anything-to-wear moments, I just go to my sister’s closet (first) and if I don’t find anything there, I just go to my brother’s closet and choose from his wide array of guy shirts with funny statements.
