April 2011
This post is the continuation of my travel/outfit post from my recent Coron trip. If you missed it, you can read it here and here :)

Yes, I’m still using my almost-sepia look on my photos. I think they’re cute! what do you think? Anyway, pardon my smirk on the photo above! I was fooling around while my sister took the shots and all other shots were either out of focus or have bad framing so I chose that one. I was wearing a very sheer beach cover up because I’m about to hit the beach!

(My cheeks looks so fat/bloated here) A peek of what’s under my cover up! I’m shy to post my bikini photos eh! I think I blend in well with the ocean! With the blue bikini I’m wearing and the blue scarf on my head, I blend in well! hiih Ocean blue!

That night, we ate dinner outside instead of just eating inside the restaurant. ILOVEIT! We can hear the waves, the murmurs of the wind, and of course, the bats. But it was all so serene. The “nature noises” helped us relax. Tea candles were lit to provide us light.

and to end this post, here’s the awesome robot napkin we found on our tables that night!

CUTE right? <3
AWWWWW :”> thank you so much!!!! my smile is so big right now! You made my night!!! I just tweaked it a little bit. If you want I can help you! Just ask me what you need to know! <3 thankyouthankyou! :*
I don’t have a deviantart but i know what you mean! HAHA
I have a canon 450D with 18-55mm lens
a canon 50mm 1.8 lens
a recent buy nissin speedlite
I also have a vintage Olympus OMG film camera and a sunpak flash :)
I AM NUMBER FOUR
BURLESQUE, ftw ;)
So the moment we landed and got off the plane (our recent trip to coron), my sister insisted that we took pictures at the airport because a lot of tourists were doing the same. So being vain, I obliged.

This photo below was taken during the boat ride on our way to the island (using my sister’s digicam). We passed through the river that was surrounded by mangroves and the view was magnificent! And look at my awkward face/pose/smile while standing at the boat’s rear platform.

I love love this swing! I think I spent my nights swinging away while listening to various summer beats on my ipod!

About the outfit, well, because I knew that it’ll be cold during the airplane ride, I brought this mustard yellow cardigan (that also doubled as a cover up to my bikinis/swimsuits) to keep me warm. I paired my gray maxi dress with it and added a brown belt to emphasize curves. I also wore this lovely bow hat not only to protect me from the sun’s heat but also to add an interesting touch to my outfit. Aside from the hat, the only accessory was my capiz necklace. Lastly, I wore my trusty Ipanema sandals for easy maneuver and comfort while walking! :)
Hype this on lookbook here!

Anyway, I’m trying to achieve this old film look on my photos but I don’t think its working. Hehe But anyway, I love this almost-sepia look on my photos (at least for my outdoor photos where there’s plenty of sunlight)
So that’s about it! I’ll cover the other outfits next time!
I absolutely love the place! Although the resort we stayed in can use a little modification. The resort is not exactly the fancy type. I almost died when I found out there’s no TV inside the room! :( The resort is all about nature lovin’. Although there’s a video room and tv room inside their clubhouse which was okay. They also have a mini library, pingpong table, billards table, darts and a bar inside their massive clubhouse. The resort also boasts their island spa which quite frankly, relieved my stressed body! (ilovethespa!!!)
The resort owned the whole island so there were little population. Aside from the staff and other tourists, no one else was there. We have total privacy which I loved. (I do not like it when other people are having a stare fest while I’m flaunting my flabs!) Although there were really a massive population of bats! (they come out at around 5-6 pm)

The beach! the beach was lovely with its turquoise blue waters. The moment I saw the inviting blue water, I was so ready to jump in!

those white things are birds btw :)

Although it wasn’t “swimming friendly”.
You know, the kind of beach you’d want your child to swim the hell out of. The shore had fine sand but the sand underneath the crystal blue water have little dead corals and shells scattered and shallowly buried. Although I can proudly say that the beach was best for snorkeling! I never enjoyed snorkeling before Coron. I hated it then. But when I saw coron’s reef, WOAH. There were so many sea creatures! I kept on swimming and swimming because there’s just too many creatures to see! I saw a starfish, sting ray, even dory from finding nemo! It was so cool!
Nevertheless, it was safe to say I spent all my days snorkeling. Although I tried to swim but I was so paranoid of not seeing what’s underneath me (i’m kind of scared of the sea creatures that might come my way) so yup! snorkeling is good!
They also have a mini lagoon of which we saw a reptile. I think its kind is called bayawak but I’m not really sure if it is so… here’s a photo.

So anyway, that was a long post! HAHA and I’m not yet done :)) So many things to say because we did a lot of activities! :) Will blog about it next entry! But that’ll do for now! :)
I went to school for the grade consultation day yesterday (which was a waste of time by the way) and went to the mall after. I decided to wear this old floral polo I found deeply buried in my closet and my fave lazy day cotton on skirt (which lacked ironing because I found it buried under my closet too) I buttoned my top all the way up and wear my capiz necklace I bought from Boracay. I added a red belt to secure my skirt because its a little too loose (I lose weight or it was stretched out?) and also to accentuate not my curves but the red touches on my polo. With some red bow flats and a gray weaved hat, I’m ready to go! :)

Well, my sister took these shots. All I can say is…. magnifico! =))) She’s using adep mode with autofocus on my SLR and some photos came in blurry. And because of my sister’s great eye in photography, her framing is SUPER DUPER AMAZING just like this photo

See, she knows the rule of thirds! HAHA
But seriously, I’m thankful she took my photos rather than me looking like a total idiot posing while facing a tripod (forever alone) even though some shots can use a little post processing (or a lot of post processing) like this shot below

HAHA anyway, that’s what behind every lookbook shots. Lots of rejected/ugly photos
In other news, I’m so excited to go to the beach this 22! I’m gonna take a hell lot of photos (I’ll really be the one to take them) I wish someone from my family will take some of mine:( I geared up a lot of maxi skirt and cute bikinis and hats for this trip. We we so excited!
